Engineer Olympics – Grades 3-6

  • November 9, 2017
    5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Curious kids in grades 3-6 will work collaboratively in partners and teams to compete in a variety of engineering challenges using unconventional materials.

Some of the events will be speed challenges (under 5 minutes) to push their instinctive problem-solving skills, while others will require a bit more planning and refinement of their structures.  Kids will work together to brainstorm, plan, design, build, test, improve, and compete in categories such as:

  • Longest-spinning fidget spinner
  • Tallest structure
  • Strongest bridge
  • Most useful gadget
  • Most out-of-the-box box, and others…
