    1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

THIS SESSION SOLD OUT – Check out our NEW just added session! https://knowledgeplayground.org/events/kitchen-chemistry-2-0/

This camp brings together curious kids who love to explore, discover, and create in the kitchen!  We’ll cook s’mores in homemade solar ovens, measure pH levels with our own chemical pH indicator, create our own “micro-scoopic” ice cream with liquid nitrogen, concoct fizzy popping candy, design stunning edible agate candy cupcake toppers, and so, so much more!  Be prepared to get messy for this camp!

June 17-21  1:00-4:00pm daily will be open to campers in two age groups, ages 4-7 and 8+.  We will have multiple teachers, so campers will spend portions of the camp with others in their age group.

(The morning camp offered this same week, Nature’s Wonders Camp, will be from 9am-12pm.  Campers who sign up for both are invited to bring a sack lunch and will have a free bonus hour included from 12-1 that includes Open Tinker Lab after lunch! Click here for more information about that camp.)

Before participating in the first day of camp, students must return the signed Family Information Form, which will be emailed prior to the week of camp.

Contact us at info@knowledgeplayground.org if you are interested in a late pick-up at 5pm option.  If there is interest from multiple families, we’ll contact all participants to offer the option for an additional fee.

100% Satisfaction Guaranteed – If after the first day of camp, you decide this is not a great fit for your child, please contact Anna by phone or in person to discuss either a full refund or registration in another Collaboratory camp instead.  Collaboratory reserves the right to cancel (with 100% refund) this session if enrollment is less than 6 kids.  We believe strongly that one of the most important elements to learning at the Collaboratory is the collaboration and teamwork with other students.  We want to ensure there are enough students to create a powerful team and to grow our thinking power!
