This day-off school camp brings together curious thinkers who love to tinker, design, build, take-apart, launch, hover, create, and make a mess in the name of curiosity! Join us for an all-day STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) camp for a mix of some of our favorite activities and experiences from the Collaboratory! We’ll spend some time with open-ended time to explore and create, similar to our Open Tinker Lab, where every kid can find their own element. During that time, we’ll have options like robotics, motorized Legos, games, engineering with Magformers, kinetic sand, microscopes, an open makerspace, and other favorites. We’ll balance that with a variety of slightly more structured hands-on experiments and creations like slime, homemade Dippin’ Dots style ice cream, engineering challenges, snowball catapults, and so much more!
8:00am – 4:00pm will be open to campers ages 6-12. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you . Age ranges are recommended ages. If you have any questions or need an early drop-off before 8:00am or late pick-up after 4pm, please reach out to Anna (email@example.com) and she’d be happy to help you determine if it makes sense for children outside that range or arrange alternative drop-off/pick-up times.
Before participating in camp, students must return the signed Family Information Form, which will be emailed prior to the week of camp. Please send campers with a sack lunch and a water bottle. Light snacks will be served mid-morning and mid-afternoon, but you’re welcome to send your own snacks if you’d like.
100% Satisfaction Guaranteed – If after the first day of camp, you decide this is not a great fit for your child, please contact Anna by phone or in person to discuss either a full refund or registration in another Collaboratory camp instead. Collaboratory reserves the right to cancel (with 100% refund) this session if enrollment is less than 6 kids. We believe strongly that one of the most important elements to learning at the Collaboratory is the collaboration and teamwork with other students. We want to ensure there are enough students to create a powerful team and to grow our thinking power!
