- Science & Art Fusion
June 27, 2019 - June 28, 2019
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
This camp is for those curious, multi-faceted Collaboratorians who have a passion for both art and science. We’ll fuse the two together in exciting ways to create a portfolio of take-home, science-based art pieces. We’ll use chemistry in fluid acrylic poured painting, create unique pop-rocket exploding art canvases, utilize water marbling to hydro-dip scarves for wearable art, and more! (Be sure to dress for a mess!)
June 27th -28th, 9am-12pm daily and will be open to campers ages 8ish and older. Cost is inclusive of a materials fee that covers all tools and resources for the artwork that will go home after camp.
(The afternoon camp offered this same week, Wearable Technology Camp, will be from 1pm-5pm. Campers who sign up for both are invited to bring a sack lunch and will have a free bonus hour included from 12pm-1pm that includes Open Tinker Lab after lunch! Click here for more information about that camp.)
We are also offering the camps Collaboratory’s Academy for Wizardry and Gadgets & Gizmos Exploration this same week. Click here to learn more!
*Age ranges are recommended ages. if you have any questions, please reach out to Anna (email@example.com) and she’d be happy to help you determine if it makes sense for children outside that range.

Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in an early drop-off at 8am or late pick-up at 5pm option. If there is interest from multiple families, we’ll contact all participants to offer the option for an additional fee.
100% Satisfaction Guaranteed – If after the first day of camp, you decide this is not a great fit for your child, please contact Anna by phone or in person to discuss either a full refund or registration in another Collaboratory camp instead. Collaboratory reserves the right to cancel (with 100% refund) this session if enrollment is less than 6 kids. We believe strongly that one of the most important elements to learning at the Collaboratory is the collaboration and teamwork with other students. We want to ensure there are enough students to create a powerful team and to grow our thinking power!
