Curious kids who just can’t get their fill of the slime craze will get to try a variety of recipes to master the perfect slime!  Families, the best part for you is that they’ll make the mess at the Collaboratory instead of your kitchen table!  Along the way, they’ll learn the science behind slime and what’s happening on a molecular level to make the sticky, squishy, fluffy, stretchy stuff that we love so much as well as learn tips and tracks for how to troubleshoot when a batch just isn’t turning out right.   Slime scientists will choose their colors, mix-ins, and even optional scents (like cotton candy, watermelon, sugar cookie, chocolate, or choose from over 50 other scents) for at least 5 batches of slime.  We’ll explore favorites like cloud slime, crunchy slime, cotton candy slime, kinetic slime, butter slime, and so many more!  All materials are supplied, including slime ingredients and containers to take your slime home.

There will be two sessions offered: June 3, 9am – 12pm OR July 1, 9am-12pm  – Both sessions will be open to campers who are 8 years old and older.*

*Age ranges are recommended ages.  If you have any questions, please reach out to Anna ( and she’d be happy to help you determine if it makes sense for children outside that range.

Before participating in the first day of camp, students must return the signed Family Information Form, which will be emailed prior to the week of camp.

If this class sounds perfect for your child but this date doesn’t work for you, please contact us at in case another section is added this summer!
